Jasmine is a 14 year old, from Warren, MI. On August 10th she will be taking on a journey, from South Haven, MI to Port Huron, MI, carrying the American flag over 250 miles (10 marathons) on foot in 8 days or less across the great state of Michigan in support of our Veterans. She has a goal of raising $25,000 for our Vets for America's 250th birthday.
Jasmine graduated Warren Woods Middle School with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the student council. Jasmine plays the oboe and flute and the school band received 1st place from the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association. She is part of the color guard and swim team.
Jasmine is always looking to help others. Through face painting, she has raised $1,000 for Jaxwalk to support our Veterans. She has donated her time and effort to the Rainbow Connection, DAWG (Detroit Animal Welfare Group) and the VFW.
She is an inspiration for all generations. Jasmine said "The veterans have given years of there lives to help. I'm happy to support them and give them some of my time to say thank you."
She has plans to help the homeless later this year!

Regardless of our race, religion or political views, when we stand/walk together we can accomplish anything! Us four will be leaving from Port Huron, Michigan and walking 275 miles to South Haven in support of our veterans.
Meet the team!
Oliver Gantt (56) is a longtime Community Advocate and founder of ThousandsStrong. Over the years, he has worked alongside families and community members, using his voice to advocate for accountability, justice, public safety, and opportunities for those who are often overlooked. He is also a union member and Union Steward with IBEW Local 17.
Oliver believes that making a difference starts with being willing to show up and do the work. That belief has also led to his continued efforts to seek public office, where he hopes to take his years of community advocacy and use that experience to make an even greater difference in the lives of others. At the heart of everything he does is a simple commitment: to serve, to advocate, and to help make communities stronger.
Dereck Coe (47) - Born and raised in Kalamazoo Mi moved to the metro Detroit 20 years ago. Besides running his own small business and or teaching at Irene’s Myomassology he loves being outside or with his family. Since Covid, Dereck has been walking with Jack. Whether it was for a couple days on one of his Fund Raising Journeys or walking across the state representing Jaxwalk and The Salute Our Warriors non profit.
Morgan Huffman (38) I am Morgan Huffman, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who served six years as a Staff Sergeant, completing two overseas tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). I am a father to two beautiful daughters. Born in Michigan, I now call Upstate New York home, where I work as a Project Manager at Gross Electric. Last year I ruptured my Achilles tendon, and I’m looking forward to putting both it and my mental resilience to the test. I am also the brother of Jack from Jaxwalk, who has been an inspiration of perseverance to me and many others. I look forward to — and couldn’t be more proud to be part of — something that inspires hope, strength, and positive change for others.
Jack Huffman (39) - aka Jax. Ehhh... you know...

Jax all or nothing run for the third leg of this journey. As soon as the second leg of this journey is completed. Jax will take on a completely solo journey back to Port Huron looking to break the record. Over 10 marathons! He thinks he can do it in under five days. What do you think? 100% of all donations go to the Salute Our Warriors to help our Veterans! This will be his 9th crossing of Michigan...
